Description
This spell allows the Templar to create a cherub out of another soul (i.e., the corpse of another being). The cherub follows the Templar around and will absorb any excess divine energies arising from its master's miscasts. Cherubim are miniature versions of their creators, their statistics and characters are very similar to the caster. They are useless in combat. A cherub can be dismissed at a small dues cost by casting the spell again, or it will disappear over time.
Notes
The cherub absorbs the effects of fumbled spells. It does not matter what kind of corpse is used to create it. Cherubim do not follow the caster automatically, cf. holy command.
They get hungry after awhile, and only eat vegetables (feed food to cherub) — unfortunately they are unable to consume manna.
