Special wishes do not fall under the same provisions as full and small wishes. Generally, they supply a one-time benefit with a cost paid either in Primal Energy (PE), Roleplaying Points (RPP), or gold. In many cases, there is no location you can go to in order to acquire a special wish, requiring you to collaborate with either an archwizard or an administrator. Any PE, RPP, or gold spent on a special wish is spent permanently and will not be refunded, even by reincarnation.
Primal Energy Wishes
These PE-based wishes do not fit the template of either small or full wishes, as the benefit they provide is both immediate and non-refundable. Unless otherwise noted, contact an archwizard or administrator to acquire one of these wishes.
Memorize Locations
Cost: 20 PE
Allows you to retain your list of aliased rooms created with the 'memorize' skill when reincarnating. Unlike standard wishes, this effect is permanent and will not be removed by reincarnation.
Guild Dues
Cost: Variable (see below)
Substitutes PE for guild dues when advancing to a primary guild level that requires them. (i.e. level 16-20)
Exp Free Reincarnation
Cost: 50 PE
Reincarnate with no experience penalty.
Cash Free Reincarnation
Cost: 100 PE
Reincarnate with no gold cost for training while you have reincarnation experience available.
Exp and Cash Free Reincarnation
Cost: 150 PE
Reincarnate with no experience penalty and no gold cost for training while you have reincarnation experience available.
This version is also known as a 'freinc.'
Roleplaying Wishes
Wishes obtained by spending RPP add flavor to characters. As a rule, taking a roleplaying wish adds only superficial benefits to your character and does not increase their power in any way. Unless otherwise noted, contact an archwizard or administrator to acquire a roleplaying wish.
Extra Plan Line
Cost: 5 RPP
Allocates one additional line of space for use in writing your character plan.
Typo Message
Cost: 10 RPP
Add a custom message to the randomly-accessed list used when the MUD taunts you for making a typo.
Colored Guild Equipment Name
Cost: 10 RPP
Allows you to use color tags in the name of your fellblade, paladin shield, or bard instrument.
Who Title
Cost: 20 RPP
Displays a custom title instead of your level on the long version of the 'who' command.
Channel Title
Cost: 20 RPP
Displays a custom title before your name when talking on channels.
Clear Speech
Cost: 20 RPP
Removes racial speech impediments that appear when using the 'say' command.
Inform Message
Cost: 20 RPP
Displays a custom message on the inform channel whenever you log in.
Colored Channel Messages
Cost: 20 RPP
Recolors your speech when talking on channels.
Custom Speech Verbs
Cost: 30 RPP
Alters the verbs that appear before your message when using the 'say' command.
Name Spell
Cost: 50 RPP
Renames an existing spell after you. (e.g. 'dehydrate' becomes 'dorisenas dehydrate')
Gold Wishes
While not officially counted as a wish, there are some things you can spend gold on that grant metagame benefits.
Remove Surname
Cost: 30,000 gold
Erases your current surname.
Divorce
Cost: 5,000 gold
Ends your current in-game marriage.
Hide BPK
Cost: 5,000 gold
Conceals the listing in your plan for "Best Party Kill."
Hide LKB
Cost: 10,000 gold
Conceals the listing in your plan for "Last Killed By."
