Small Wishes

A small wish is intended to provide a minor benefit, supplying a convenience that can usually be obtained by multiple different means: equipment, skills and spells, or built into the race itself. The benefit of a small wish is constant and irremovable except by reincarnation, making small wishes a good way to avoid dedicating an equipment slot or constantly refreshing spell effects.

Small wishes have a base cost of 50 Primal Energy, with each successive wish costing 10% more than the previous one. Any Primal Energy that is spent on a small wish will be freed upon reincarnation, allowing you to spend it again.

Enhanced Senses

Infravision
Gain infravision, allowing you to see heat and cold sources in the room when light conditions are out of your normal vision range. Infravision is sufficient to follow a party leader around, but any targeting done is guesswork and limited to specifying which heat or cold source to target.

Mindsight
Gain mindsight, which supplies both passive and active benefits. Passive mindsight is sufficient both to follow a party leader and target any creature in the room by name, even when light conditions are out of your normal range or the creature is invisible. No visual information is provided by passive mindsight: in all other respects, your character is still blind if you are out of your normal vision range. Active mindsight is used via the 'sense' command, which provides a list of all creatures within the room.

Enhanced Listen
Improves auditory detection for the 'listen' command and checks made to hear things. Additionally, enhanced listen enables the 'listen all' command, allowing you identify the physical category of creatures in the room. (humanoid, fish, animal, etc.) These categories may be used to target other creatures by guesswork, even when light conditions are out of your normal range.

Enhanced Smell
Improves olfactory detection for the 'smell' command and checks made to smell things. Additionally, enhanced smell enables the 'smell all' command, allowing you to identify the physical category of creatures in the room, as well as items that have an associated smell. Unlike enhanced listen, enhanced smell has the potential for increased accuracy and can identify some creatures by their specific race. The listed categories may be used to target other creatures by guesswork, even when light conditions are out of your normal range.

Physical Alteration

Winged Flight
Gain wings for use with the 'flight' command. When using your wings to fly, you may not wear anything in the cloak slot. Additionally, you may be prevented from using winged flight in indoor rooms depending on your character's size. Winged flight consumes one endurance point per room traveled.

Breathe Water
Gain gills for water breathing. This naturally prevents you from drowning or experiencing any of the precursors to drowning.

No Hunger
Change racial dietary requirements to 'none.' Since you no longer have any need for food, this wish has the additional side effect of removing your ability both to eat and drink.

Emit Light
Constantly emit +3 light.

Emit Dark
Constantly emit -3 light.
