You pour the solvent over the fire. It sparkles a bit and then the fire completely goes out.

In a flash of smoke and light a tall man appears in front of the building wearing a white robe.
Tall man says, 'I see you have put out my fire.'
Tall man says, 'I should kill you for that, but I will not kill you yet. You can save yourself by bringing me Salena's doll. She lives at the other end of this street.'
Tall man says, 'You can present the doll to the statue in the middle of town to redeem yourself.'

The man fades into dust and is gone!
