Nightbreed

While the Lupins are affected by the phase of the moon, the powers of the Nightbreed are tied to the sun. Most extreme are the Gargoyles, which are immobile by day, and the Vampires, which are damaged by any light. Other Nightbreeds are not so sensitive to light and dark, but are strongly tied to an alignment— Tywimn and Dhampirs are both solidly with the forces of good.

The Muridan have no light or alignment ties, but their roles in life are determined by a ceremony that involves acquiring a disease to carry (HELP ASPECT), and so they are shunned by many races as though they were evil.
