Mage Tower Newbie Quest

This large chamber is hewn out of lava rock. The sole prominent feature is
a large machine, connected by a black metal chain to an equally black and
foreboding grate which bars further progress north.

The Mage Tower Newbie Quest is a newbie area on raji, located in the mage tower inside nimbus city. Its level lock is 16. It contains a small puzzle to test knowledge of mage spells and a recreation of RetroMUD's solar system with one iconic being per planet. It was coded by Valek and updated by Genevieve.

To proceed through the first few rooms, one has to demonstrate knowledge of mage spells.

All of these are possible without actually having the spell in question. Just pretend you're casting it.
To get the machine to open the door, "cast jolt"
To get past the arrows, "cast mystic shield"
To blind the eye, "cast color beam at eye"
To remove the heat that prevents your progress, "cast cold snap"
