Description: Defying all concepts of natural classification, the Chimaera
are terrifyingly massive abominations created by dark or forbidden magics
to combine the most dangerous aspects of both natural and unnatural beings.
All Chimaera consist of every conceivable kind of living creature, as well
as inorganic and unliving things. They often have several heads with
wicked fangs, a thick serpentine torso with claws, pincers, humanoid arms,
and the stinger of a scorpion upon the tip of a prehensile tail, and sheets
of metal bolted into broad strips of undead flesh. Chimaera differ wildly
in appearance according to their creators' whims, but all share the nearly
unstoppable ferocity and uncanny regenerative abilities inherent in their
design.
